Styling: Heavy Winter Coats in Fall

After the heat wave last week it finally returned to fall for a moment, it was the perfect weather to wear this lovely two tone faux fur coat from Fevrie.com. I was first attracted to this coat by the two tone colors which is a style I don’t see too often, and when I do, its usually overdone. This cozy coat also has two big zipper pockets, which is a big plus for me, as I always prefer zippered pockets for security. I decided to pair the coat with my favorite black crochet dress and black suede lace up sandals/boots (not exactly sure what category these shoes would be in). The only matching components in this look are the 2nd color on the two tone coat that is matching the eyelets on my shoes. I realized that they were almost the exact same shade and knew I had to pair them together. Though many wouldn’t notice this detail, I believe that it’s the small details like this that can really pull the whole look together.
