With festival season approaching and the weather getting hotter kimonos are quickly coming back in style. I find that it is pretty easy to mix in most kimonos with everyday outfits because the print is not usually very bold. Finding a simple black chiffon or floral kimono is a closet staple for spring/summer; but what about the bold color pieces? I am in love with this bright red kimono from Spell Designs but I find it a bit hard to style. These are two simple outfits I put together wearing the kimono. I also was able to incorporate both velvet and leather into these looks, which we all know is a bit hard to wear in spring/summer. Outfit details will be listed below the outfits. This is part 1 of my 3 part posts for Coachella/festival season so there will be more practical looks coming soon along with the info on where to get these items in time for festival season.
