In celebration of summer solstice I am trying to incorporate more color into my wardrobe. For someone like me who mostly wears black, this means now wearing white or different tones of grey. I find that in summer its just easier to wear lighter colors, and you don’t get as hot which is always a plus. But its hard to find a white lace dress that doesn’t feel too sexy. Most are gorgeous and very flattering on, but not for everyday wear. Though this one is a bit of a lower cut, the fact that it doesn’t really form to your body makes it feel much more casual. The lace top part is a bit see thru however, you can always wear a tank under and it will hardly be noticeable.
This little white dress first caught my eye due to the gorgeous contrast stitching on the lace. The black stitching throughout the lace top really helps to separate it from the bottom. Two tone anything has been an obsession of mine for about a year now. In cleaning out my closet to prepare for a huge advice/how to post coming soon, I realized how my style has changed. As the years go by it’s inevitable that our style changes a bit as well. That’s why I’ve been working on a very informative post on how to curate your closet/style so that it truly reflects you. That post will be up in about a week so stay tuned!
