Spring has sprung and that mean’s it’s officially festival season. With Coachella coming up this weekend and the next, I will have a variety of festival fashion looks ranging from simple boho chic to dirty hippie lovechild. Though I don’t own any flower crowns, as I have yet to find one made of black/red flowers…I still love my vintage velvet fringe kimonos, cozy band t-shirt dresses, turquoise jewelry, and black leather boots. This is when I get to break out all my favorite vintage gems! Going through my closet I found a lot of my old vintage pieces which I am really looking forward to incorporating into my outfits along with my new pieces. The great thing about vintage clothing/jewelry is that they are timeless. Vintage items will never go out of style.
This is a simple festival style look I put together featuring one of my favorite fringe dresses. You’ll notice I do not have much jewelry on in this outfit, as I did not want to over accessorize and distract from the beauty of this dress. This dress has beautiful beading down the back and front that is lined with fringe. But the flower detailing up the shoulder and down the front of the dress is what really makes it different from all the other black fringe dresses. Though this dress has a vintage look it’s actually only about 2 years old. The only thing I would change about this outfit if I were going to a festival like Coachella is the shoes. If I was going to be out and walking around all day in the heat, I would wear boots with a smaller heel. I also would bring a light kimono to shield from the sun. Other outfit details will be listed below.

Wow, great dress, hat & shoes and fits you to a T! Perfect for Coachella, but a light kimono may not be enough to filter out the sun’s blast. Slather on the skin protect and enjoy the beautiful setting and music. (from a former desert rat here. 🙂
Thank you! I am actually not attending Coachella this year but your right I should’ve recommended more skin protection haha 🙂
