Styling: Moon Jewelry

Today’s look is another simplistic festival style outfit. I didn’t over accessorize, because I wanted the main focus to be on this stunning Swarovski crystal necklace from MoonGlow.com. I was first attracted to this design because of the vintage/Victorian look of the charm. The necklace I chose has a Swarovski crystal that is inlaid at the base of the necklace. The original design is exactly the same as this one, just without the crystal, and it’s gorgeous. The lovely part about this brand is that each piece is personalized. After you choose your necklace, you put in your birth date and it tells you which moon phase you were born in. That phase then becomes the design on your necklace. Also, if you wear the necklace enough during the day so it can get sunlight, the moon design will glow at night. I was born in a New Moon phase, so I decided to get this necklace for my mom for her birthday and she loved it! I think these make a great gift for someone because they are personalized.

I decided to pair this necklace with one of my favorite dresses and my new favorite boots/sandals for summer. Still can’t decide exactly what category these shoes would go in, boots or sandals. But they are so comfortable and the heel is the perfect height! Though, I feel as though I should note that they do take about 5 minutes to get on and laced up. They are not a quick slip on and your out the door kind of shoe. Other outfit details will be listed below.
