Holiday Lookbook 2016

Holiday outfits are always my favorite because it’s finally cold enough to break out all my velvet, leather and super soft furry items. You will find all three of these fabrics in both of these looks. In a recent interview I was asked what my favorite fall trends were and it’s definitely velvet dresses paired with furry bags. It is very important to be comfortable around the holidays too. Since a lot of time is spent eating and lounging, I think a dress is the perfect option.

This first look features one of my favorite vintage velvet dresses and my mohawk style furry top tassel bag. This bag is perfect for fall and winter season and is the perfect size for a day bag as it can hold even more than it looks. This outfit is your classic all black ensemble but notice the attention to the details. My choker is a beautiful handmade design which features amethyst stones and the gold adds a little holiday glam to the all black look. As it got a bit colder I threw on my mini leather trench coat to stay warm.

My other outfit includes what I think to be the ultimate staple piece during the holiday season, a fancy red dress. The two-tone red lace on this dress is stunning and paired perfectly with my new furry bag. I also had to add a little velvet in this look, so I threw on my thigh high velvet boots that feature a shiny metallic heel for that extra holiday sparkle.
