Now that fashion month has officially come to a close I will be reviewing my favorite designers from New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion week. Each location has a bit of a different feel to it, so I have chosen one label from each week that was my personal favorite. As always, picking only one designer is much easier said than done. I will include photos from the show/collection as well as a brief description about the brand and the new collection. Feel free to comment which were your favorites this year, as there are so many talented designers it’s so hard to choose just one for each week so I would love to hear your picks as well!…View Post
When trying to dress comfortably and keep cool during the hot festival days, next to lace, crochet is your best bet. Crochet items have holes that allow air to flow thru which also adds texture to the garment, creating a pretty pattern. This is why they’re perfect for festivals as the bohemian designs are right on theme. A little crocheted top is one of my favorite pieces to wear because it is thick enough to hold its place while you are dancing and running around, but still breathable so you don’t get too hot. I went with all black in this outfit to keep it pretty simple and then added a pop of color with my bag.…View Post
Holiday outfits are always my favorite because it’s finally cold enough to break out all my velvet, leather and super soft furry items. You will find all three of these fabrics in both of these looks. In a recent interview I was asked what my favorite fall trends were and it’s definitely velvet dresses paired with furry bags. It is very important to be comfortable around the holidays too. Since a lot of time is spent eating and lounging, I think a dress is the perfect option.
This first look features one of my favorite vintage velvet dresses and my mohawk style furry top tassel bag.…View Post
It was the beautiful mademoiselle Coco Chanel who said, “Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman.” which is still one of my favorite quotes. When you dress/feel confident they will remember you. A high quality blazer and “professional” attire go hand and hand in this situation, for this is often when people will not feel their most presentable. I fell in love with this Michael Kors blazer from Fevrie, where they have some great designer brands. I have featured items from them before on my blog, here. The design that the gem/studs create on this blazer is giving me a very Elvis/Bowie vibe for some reason, especially on the back how they all line up down the middle.…View Post
Thigh high boots are a must have in every woman’s closet. Not only are they a timeless, stylish and versatile piece, but they are effortlessly sexy no matter what you wear with them. Though they are a bit of a statement piece so wear with caution. These black suede stiletto style beauties are from Heartbreaker Heels. This particular design comes in a grey and wine color as well, but of course I chose black. I would say they run true to size though I always advise to size up if your in between sizes and to wear thick socks if they are a bit loose.…View Post
