Festival Lookbook 3/3: Comfortable Footwear

With school starting and festival season coming to an end; this last and final festival post will be helpful all year round for any event where you have to do a lot of walking. That’s right we are talking shoes today. Now we all know that shoes can either make or break an outfit and I don’t just mean aesthetically. If your feet are hurting and you’re in pain with every single step you take, you don’t care how cute your shoes look in that moment. You want to be comfortable. This is why I think that boots, like the ones I’m wearing here, are the perfect way to go.…

Festival Lookbook 1/3: Lace Dresses

Danielle Gold DavidTruuu 17 1 Festival Lookbook 1/3: Lace Dresses

At a festival you always want to look fashionable, but more importantly you want to be comfortable. There is a lot of walking/dancing so you’ll want to wear items that are made of a breathable fabric. This is why I love wearing lace dresses to these sort of events as they are the most breathable but always look chic. Lace dresses also never go out of stye so when you find a design you really love, they are usually timeless and can stay in your closet for many years. I went very matchy with this whole look though I should mention that the heel on these shoes are a bit taller than what I might choose to wear to a festival.…

Trend Talk: Off The Shoulder (OTS)

A few of my casual, and not so casual, daily looks from winter 2016/17. Though I will be starting with a few outfits from December, most of these were taken in 2017 right up until last week. I wanted to wait for the cold weather to be officially over before posting this lookbook, and I wanted to be able to include outfits from the rainy/cold days we had in April. Also, my festival lookbook will be coming end of June!

Info on the different daily looks will be listed below, though I will not be listing every item in each look.…

Styling: Pearls

IMG 5892 after zpsknn9rcdv Styling: Pearls

Since Valentine’s Day is fast approaching I want to feature a perfect little delicate gift. Pearls have always been a luxury status symbol in fashion and society. A simple little pair of pearl earrings is I think one of the best valentine’s gifts you can get, and also one of the safest if you don’t know their exact personal favorite style. They are romantic and beautiful but also very practical; they are a nice addition to your wardrobe as they are a very classic piece. Never too over-the-top but also always a very sophisticated look. I am also a fan of this design because of the very small delicate pearls, as I feel like a large pearl earring can look a bit costume.…
