Styling: All Black Outfits

“Women think of all colors except the absence of color. I have said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.” My favorite quote by Mademoiselle Coco Chanel. I like to think that ones personal style is instinctual, it cannot be learned or taught. I mean, sure you can learn the names of brands and proper etiquette. You can learn basic things like what garments fit best for your shape. But in my opinion, your personal style, cannot be taught or learned by anyone other than shaped by your own experience and what you are naturally drawn to. My personal style involves a lot of black clothing.

That’s partly why I was drawn to these beautiful and very well made two texture boots from Geewawa Footwear. I love the suede upper and the leather base w/ the silver stud accents on the buckles. The little silver pairs perfectly with my minimal jewelry and the details on my hat. The boots are made extremely well and have a very sturdy sole; I wore them on an adventure and they held up very well. Under the knee boots are very “in” right now because of the 70s obsession that has continued from fall thru winter. I find that under the knee boots are a perfect winter to spring transition piece, they can be paired with leggings or tights like I wore on my adventure. But can also be styled bare legged with a dress like I wore here. Direct links will be listed below.
