Styling: Thigh High Boots

Thigh high boots are a must have in every woman’s closet. Not only are they a timeless, stylish and versatile piece, but they are effortlessly sexy no matter what you wear with them. Though they are a bit of a statement piece so wear with caution. These black suede stiletto style beauties are from Heartbreaker Heels. This particular design comes in a grey and wine color as well, but of course I chose black. I would say they run true to size though I always advise to size up if your in between sizes and to wear thick socks if they are a bit loose. This is usually much more comfortable (and better for your feet), than sizing down. I decided to pair these boots with one of my favorite faux fur coats with moto jacket detailing to really complete the posh vibe of this outfit.

Though thigh high boots are usually more of a night time look, they can be worn during the day dressed down. Perhaps pairing them with a long coat or worn with leggings to hide the exposed upper legs. I wore this particular look to dinner and it was perfect because I wasn’t cold despite my legs not being totally covered. I went for more of a modest look, pairing with a loose fitting black dress to kind of match the black suede of the boots. However for a true evening look, I would want to really show off the boots and pair them with a short little dress or top/skirt combo.
