With festival season and summer in full swing I wanted to share my ultimate favorite statement accessory. This is the item I would wear to almost any festival or event where I’m dancing a lot. Not only does it take literally a second to put on but it also makes the outfit 10 times more extravagant. To prove this I put on a fairly simple plain black look. There is some velvet burn out details in my pants and my cardigan is furry but that’s it. I wore my favorite trusty hat with the silver hardware to match the belt, but not nearly enough silver to overshadow it.…

Part 2 of my festival style lookbook is a bit more funky but still maintains the same practical and comfortable level as the first. Originally I had planned to do much more festive looks with a lot of details, but I feel that there have been a lot of overdone Coachella looks this year; the matching crop sets, glow (faux) tattoos, the piles of silver jewelry. I do love it all, but I’d rather give some tips on how I would personally dress. Festival Lookbook, Lace Dresses

Part 1 of my festival inspired lookbook consists of two looks wearing a lace dress. This garment is my personal preference for festival-wear. I know the most common go to look is a festive crop top and shorts, but for me it’s much more convenient to wear one big piece of fabric instead of a few smaller items. I like to leave the details to the jewelry. It’s also more comfortable physically and it’s one less thing to keep track of if your a person who likes to dress in layers. I like to dance when I go to festivals, so I prefer to bring an outfit that I know I can take off the main layer and easily put it back on later.…
