Festival LookBook, Fringe Kimonos

Part 2 of my festival style lookbook is a bit more funky but still maintains the same practical and comfortable level as the first. Originally I had planned to do much more festive looks with a lot of details, but I feel that there have been a lot of overdone Coachella looks this year; the matching crop sets, glow (faux) tattoos, the piles of silver jewelry. I do love it all, but I’d rather give some tips on how I would personally dress. I know the typical trend is more rather than less, but when I go to festivals I like to stay mostly on the funky yet comfortable side of festival fashion.…

Styling: Fitness to Everyday Wear

Danielle 3 6 16 275 zpshefh9usd Styling: Fitness to Everyday Wear

Good quality workout pieces are hard to come by, but ones I can easily transition from a workout outfit to an all day look are even more rare. This is why I was excited to come across this lovely faux leather workout jacket from Movimento Apparel. Though it doesn’t look it, it is a very breathable faux leather made with a spandex blend so it’s a thinner more gym like material, (unlike leather which is usually a thicker material and not very flexible). My favorite part about this piece is the long circle scarf on the neck, because it’s so long it actually covers most of your chest and all the way down the torso.…

Review: Raw Vegan Gourmet Treats

IMG 0226 zpstht2txrd Review: Raw Vegan Gourmet Treats

Today’s post is a bit different than usual but will be the start to a new healthy lifestyle series I am adding onto my blog. Eating healthy is important to most of us, but can be hard to stick to all the time with so many tempting treats around. This is why I was excited to find out about a local raw vegan bakery in town, RawBod. All of their treats are made from all natural raw vegan ingredients and are also delicious. I like to think of myself as a bit of a chocolate snob, especially since I am allergic to gluten and can’t eat much else.…

Closet Staples: Printed Tanks

MG 05301 zpsvt1nyv0u Closet Staples: Printed Tanks

Growing up, regardless of my current style, I wore some sort of graphic design top almost every day in high school. I feel like a cute comfortable tank is a closet staple that you’ll find in any teenager to 20 somethings wardrobe. However, the older you get, the harder it becomes to style them effortlessly. It’s easy to throw them on with pants and a leather jacket for a casual look, but sometimes you want to glam it up look a bit. I have featured this brand on my blog before here, and here. They make comfortable clothes, and comfort is a must to me when it comes to basics.…

OOTD: NYE 2016

MG 0703 zpsrknxuchr OOTD: NYE 2016

My 2016 New Year’s Eve look feature’s one of my absolute favorite things to wear… a velvet dress. I decided to go with an all black look to highlight my famous subtle matching accessories. I wanted the silver studs and brass knuckle detail on my purse to match my disco ball glitter nails and sunnies. My black sunglasses have a silver hardware detail design on the side as well, though it’s hardly noticeable. This dress is perfect for nights out when you don’t want to bring a coat, or if you were going to an event that didn’t have a coat check.…
